CS proceeds on a long leave……

Well, that’s what the report appearing in the local dailies screamed. The Chief Minister, on the eve of ANSU's (All Nyishi Students’ Union) deadline, finally, subdued to the pressure and sent Tabom Bam on a long leave (should I say removed from the post) and put Home and Development Commisioner K. K. Sharma in his charge. The result-ANSU called off it’s proposed stir.

So far so good. The government acted wisely to diffuse the situation and people of the state have been saved from being pushed to yet another ‘Bandh’-the so-called democratic movement of any XYZ organization of the state.

But, on a second thought, has the government indeed acted wisely? Was their act of sending CS on long leave (or removing him from the post) under duress justified? Hasn’t it set precedent that the government can be pressurized into displacing any bureaucrat or technocrat from their office? Is it right that any bureaucrats or technocrats are removed from their post under pressure, how parochial or nepotist he may be? Shouldn't it be left to act upon them departmentally? If no, then beware Bureaucrats and technocrats!-you may be removed from your post anywhere, anytime without any reason-Be ready!

AG, I second your 'second thought'.

It is a short-term measure by DK(prob to save his tottering Govt) but with long-term bad implications for the state.

We have seen how time and time again the govt has bowed to the undemocratic and unruly demands of anti-socials, and this has encouraged and enhanced their hooliganism ever more.
This is not about Tabom Bam(there are legal ways of removing him). This is about resorting to hooliganism and the govt bowing to it. Rest assured, sooner than later such collective blackmail will recur again on another excuse. Result?

This submission by govt would certainly expedite further, such kind of trends. This is just the unfolding of an era of Mob democracy in Arunachal, and hopefully we won't be short of commies in near future, who would hold the state for ransom.

Hmmm... this is a jinxed feeling.

The question to be asked is , can we really expect the present AP politicians and babus alike , to handle the matter much in the interest of common people ?
    No...thats something I too feel.

So for the prevailing circumstances, i think, this is the only way to pressurize the govt, maybe the frustrations over such governances would certainly garner support , whole across Arunachal.

let Babus too pay the price some time.

    @ Buru,
This is not about Tabom Bam(there are legal ways of removing him)--that's what I exactly thought. Why government is succumbing to such pressures from any XYZ organisation and should the government adopt such short term measures?

    @Rome,
So for the prevailing circumstances, i think, this is the only way to pressurize the govt--may be. But even then I feel that's not the way to dislodge any bureaucrat or technocrat from their post?

It seems 'Mob Democracy' is here to stay at Arunachal.

  • Rome Mele

    @AG ,
Ya, I agree that , this isn't the appropriate way to oust any bureaucrat. Hmmm...and maybe we don't have those bureaucrats or ministers in position, who can deliver good to the AP people.
ya, mob democracy is here to stay, and am sure this would have mixed responses everywhere. Frustrations seems to oversweep the punctuality or modesty of the general people.

  • AG

    Rome,
Agreed that we don't have those bureaucrats or the ministers that could deliver good to the people, but I wonder how long would people vent their frustrations through third party undemocratic demands? When would they stand up for their rights and say their rights have been denied?

Nyishi Bhai I think u r right in saying AP may have Nishi CM in very near future.
Likha Sayaa may be the richest and have most money, but it is thought that his money was made by swindling away food meant for poor Nishi Bhais of Nyapin,Palin, Samgram with tacit support of officials of Supply and Transport Department of AP and not through some productive business enterprise.

  • Bomken Basar

    Hi Nyishi Bhai

Pliz correct your English first. At least try to write words correctly. It will take at least 2 more generations for your guys to come to senses.Truly said, Likha Sayaa tum logo ko loot raha hai..

    I don't think he's a Nyishi... maybe someone using fake id .
    Or else....
We wouldn't have missed the exclamatory parts from our side. WOW !!! wow !!!

    Things to notice :
    1) terribly bad english. But certainly a good typist , Look... he knows how to type ' ? '
(he knows the funda of shift + key).
    2) deliberate attempts to use wrong spellings... Apatang .
COMPUTAR .. wow he knows how it sounds but missed 'e' ... but even after being in AP for years he doesn't know how APATANI sounds not APATANG. (didn't he miss the shift key here ?).
But he certainly doesnt mispells APOLOGY (good vocab).

So guys don't pay this guy any heed. He's just a lousy pathetic creature, tryin to send wrong signals.
    :)

I have a similar hunch here. The words are misspelt way too much.

On the contrary, If he were a nyshi leader, he exemplifies a typical present day political character of our state - politics is always and only about money. who cares about the ground realities?

Interesting comments from this chap though.

    *Me LAUGHS*

i think Rome is right. Nyishi son is not nyishi but using faked id to create misunderstanding or posed himself as nyishi just for fun. lets ignore him...lets resume our fruitfull discussion and ignore such wastefull person as 'nyishi son'.

  • AG

Yeah I agree. I'm also not able to figure out what this Nyishi Son is trying to prove. If indeed he is Nyishi as he claims himself to be, then he is a blot to his community.

I have good reason to believe nyishi-son guys***the derogatory words he Uses for Taniis will only be known to such a person##

He is PRobably a secondary level dropout who speaks some english but not knowing spelling.Words like APOLOGY are known even by village people guys .And computer operation is known to all people these days.
I think he is Good for entertainment no?

Drama, drama and more melodrama on my favourite blog than some saas bahu serials on cable,

A saying for all of you,

Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt!

    Another one:

If you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all.

IGNORE ATTENTION SEEKERS like nyishi son, self appointed leder???

    more likely a joker

    Can't people even comment?

Am confused , why Tani_gal is even bothered to comment these discussions as melodrama ? By saying this, you're just ridiculing the people who have commented here and wishes to take part in further any kind of discussions that interests them.
What does she like ? Saas bahu ? There are people in this forum who have contributed a lot to many discussions, and if they feel like commenting on this too...then why should it bother to tani_gal.

"Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt!

    Another one:

If you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all.
    "

Is someone trying to prove something ?
Why is Tani_gal,even bothered about these comments ?
She can ignore, why act like yet another fool , paraphrasing another fooly filled adages.
