College of Horticulture and Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat is organizing North East Agri Fair-2009 and National symposium on 'IPM Strategies to Combat Emerging Pests in the current scenario of Climatic Change' from 28th to 30th of January, 2009 at College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat.
Sponsored by Central Agricultural University, National Horticultural Board, North Eastern Council and National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (North-East Chapter), the 3 day fair and national symposium aims at bringing together scientists, farmers and stakeholders of agricultural and allied sectors together to showcase the recent developments in agricultural and allied sectors and apprising farmers about the Integrated Pest Management strategies and developments in pest management aspects, as affected by Climatic Change.
Various exhibits, demonstrations and competitions showcasing fruits, vegetables, flowers and Mithun will be displayed during the 3-day Fair. Besides, there will be Farmers'-Scientists interaction on aspects related to Horticulture, Agriculture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and role of Information Technology in Agriculture.
